How Much Is My Insurance Out of Pocket?

Estimate what your insurance may cover and what your estimated out-of-pocket cost could be.

This may be labeled "Replacement Cost Value" or "RCV" on your insurance estimate.

We still need this figure for both RCV and ACV policies because an ACV amount is generally calculated by subtracting depreciation from the replacement cost.
This information is usually found on your insurance declarations page.

Examples may include rotted decking, fascia repairs, chimney repairs, code-related work that is not covered, or homeowner-requested upgrades.

Upgrade pricing varies by product, roof complexity and current material costs, so this tool does not guess at it. Choose “Yes” and enter the upgrade figure from your contractor’s estimate to include it in the total.

Planning estimate only. This tool does arithmetic on the figures you enter from your own insurance estimate. It is not a quote, not a coverage determination, and not a prediction of what your insurer will pay. Your carrier decides coverage and depreciation; your contractor’s written estimate decides cost. Driftwood Builders Roofing does not act as a public adjuster.
